I was gonna pull the crank out of my crankcase on my 02gtxdi and was wondering if theres anything to look out for or to keep in mind that might catch me out.

You will need a Seadoo Fly wheel Puller as there are small bolts directly behind it and you will not be able to pull the cases apart based that its a 800 motor ....
But if its a 951 you wont need it, as the front housing is part of the cases ...
But I am sure it will be a 951 motor ... I could be wrong ...
Also drain the oil out of the balancer shaft

its a di 951
if the crank is stuffed then you will need to use the flywheel on your new crank also you will need a gp puller for the pto
but remove them before removing the head so you can use the rope in the s/plug hole trick, or you will need a large vice
rebuild the balance shaft also bearings and seals
oh and label all those little oil, water and vent hoses
