2004 GTX 185 BHP Supercharged 100 Hour Service?

    Hi

I own a 2004 Supercharged GTX which I bought in March 08 seconhand. It has been 100% reliable and always started on the button. It is coming up for it's 100 Hour service. I have been advised by the Seadoo dealer that the service about $220 which is fine. Also the centre said that the supercharger should be re conditioned at 100 hours at a cost of Approx $880. Does anyone know much about this?

Obviously I want to maintain my Seadoo in top condition and want it to remain fast & reliable.

    Many thanks

    Thumbs up

    Hey Demo

I have the exact same ski as you and also have had no probs with it and has allways been reliable. I have 200hr on the clock and have had my ski in at seadoo sport and lesuire for the 100hr supercharge rebuild and a service which cost me $1000 and have had nothing but good quality service there, and I strongly recomend you give them a call

P.S DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA IF TOWING A WAKEBOARDER OR SKIER WILL HAVE LONG TERM EFFECTS ON THE SKI ???

    cheerz

    100 Hour Service & Towing

    Hi Nico,

Thanks for your help. I am booked in there for the service Monday, the previous owner always went there and said they were good.

I had to tow a mate's Seadoo RXP 215 BHP from Pinnaroo Point to Ocean Reef mariner a few weeks back as he sucked up a ski rope. I asked Lee at Seadoo Sport and Leisure if it would have done any damage to my ski and he said no. So I would think that towing a wake boarder or skier would be fine. The Jet skis are pretty much designed with this in mind.

Where do you normally go with your's?

    Enjoy mate!
