Thread: how to tow a NOT broken rxpx

Hi we are going on a friends yachat at the gipsland lakes and wanting to tow the the ski , the last time i did this with a xp i had to pinch the cooling hose so when we tow the ski behind the boat even a slow sail boat it didnt suck water up and fill the engine . ? do i need to do the same with a rxpx as it has closed loop cooling system but still water cools the exahust ??? any thoughts .

There is a pipe coming from the jet-pump, usually has a red band on it. You must stop water flowing through this, by pinching ot or a hose clamp.

The manual will show you if a little unsure.
