    wake 155 new purchase

Hi guys just joined today (great forum) and just made a Christmas purchase of a wake 155 - finally got the boss on board. I have had a PWC licence for about ten year mainly to support a mate with an STX 1100 who still keeps immaculate. He purchased it new for the extended family (including mine) and we took turns hauling the kids around many on skis. I and my wife got up quite easily on that ski and with that in mind and after much research (and mindful of budget constraints) I made the purchase. I have read many forum items, this one and others, and see the suggestions about moving to a supercharged model which I have duly noted but the plunge into this sport does come at a cost and it appears the wake is a good option for the wake board, skier even if it doesn't have the obvious torque advantages. I am happy with my decision and look forward to many hours on the water with my own machine (at last). Cheers to you all for 2010 hope we PWCers get a decent run with the authorities and see you on the water.

Gday yourself yes i paid cash, one of the rare times in my life when i have been liquid, but i believe finance is an option through the dealer... I got mine at JDs boatshed Caringbah. Not sure where you are based but there are some good deals on the Seadoo range with 2 years warranty and a cash back on the 09 models (same as 2010 except for decals). hope that helps

Why dont you want a Honda? Seriously, you are dismissing one of the best skis on the market if you dont at least consider it. And no I dont own one.

    Cheers

    Hi baldric,

I just bought a new 2009 Wake Pro on finance. It works out to about $545/month over 60 months at 10.99% interest rate.

Hope this gives you an idea.
