Hi guys I'm currently looking at an 04 XP DI are there any known issues with this model or any things in particular i should look for when inspecting? It's done around 100 Hours and has never been rebuilt so I'm anticipating it will need a top end freshen up in the not to distant future. Any advise appreciated.
I know nothing about the Ski..but a used Ski salesman has said to me he won't touch and seadoo DI ski...apparately there are many inherant problems but I can't help with what they are...he was speaking of a GTX di which had had more money dumped on it in repairs then the purchase Price...
Yeah I've heard that sort of thing bandied around but never had any one give me any specific problems, I've also had a few guys tell me they have not had any dramas with their DI skis so i don't know what to think. I was hoping that if there was some problem with DI they would have had it sorted by 2004.
