I am interested in buying a used jetski and don't know where to start. I have been combing the pages of the pocket trader and boatsales.com.au and there seems to be such a large range.

I was looking to buy a Honda purely because I have alway's had Honda bikes and they are good bikes, but after looking at a few reviews it would seem tey are lacking in bottom end grunt.

All I am looking for is a low hours second hand jetski around the $11,000 - $15,000 price range that can tow a couple of kids around in a biscuit for some weekend fun, I am not competative.

Can someone please steer me around all the pitfalls of buying a second hand ski.
