Thread: 2007 rxt cutting out

I have a 2007 rxt which I bought second hand two years ago. Last year I had dramas with it not starting, after it had been used for a couple of hours (I use mine mainly for towing my kids around on kneeboards,skis etc). I took it to my local dealer who could not fault it. This season the ski has been faultless until this last weekend when we were camping. Not only would it not start consistenly, it also cuts out while in operation.
The problem started on the second morning and i was thinking maybe there is a problem with condensation getting into somewhere it shouldnt? The problem seems to be definately electrical, and I have checked for loose connections but have yet to find any. I have thought about unmounting the fuse box assembly to check in behind it but thought i would see if anyone has had this problem before I go diving in too far.
My local dealer is a four hour drive away so I was hoping to avoid a trip before winter when I get it serviced.
I have only ever used it in fresh water.
