Probably won't make any difference with the Skiiers getting pushed out of logue brook dam they only have waroona dam(Fresh water) to ski so no more PWC's, then they'll probably increase the ski areas to compensate so say good-bye to the narrows....

I have noticed that the goverment is looking to spend 10 mill on making lake Kepwari available for use to joe public this year.. this lake is an old coal mine located near collie that is 2km long and 1km wide and 70mtrs deep has taken 5 years to fill with water Maybe JSW should try and get there foot in the door here to make some of this area open for jetskiiers...Anyone else familiar with whats going on here I'm just getting the info of the Web..

this whole jetski thing is starting to become a pain in the arse. i've only had one for 12 months and so far its a case of "u cant go here", "u cant go there!" there's only a tiny area in rockingham and the same in perth. maybe if the dpi took the time to check their records and see how many jetski's r registered in the metro area. maybe they would allow more ski's in more area's. what do they expect people to do, the 2 main area's are becoming overcrowded. I should know, i had an idiot go into the side of my ski at rocky beach last month. f@#ked the side of my ski!!! The seadoo dealers r selling on average 20 new ski's a month. where r all these people gonna ride???. if things get 2 overcrowded in the 2 main area's there IS gonna be an accident one day and we all gonna suffer the outcome of it.we had permission to be in waroona dam, we were towing most of the day and only had 5 minutes of time out to "freestyle" in a secluded section and had the decency to do it away from other people. but what gets me is a dirty great speed boat (with huge horsepower)can roar around (not towing) making a huge wake on the banks and no one says a shit about it!!! to me it seems like there are 2 sets of rules, Why??? maybe people would be better lobbying the dpi and getting jetskis treated the same as boats. we make less wake, less noise and less pollution than a stinky old 15hp on the back of a 12ft tinny! we are also less damaging to the enviroment by not having a dirty old prop sitting in the water churning it up. I think we should be treated the same as boats - officially we are still vessels! and if people want to "freestyle" they should be doing it at least 100 metres away from non pwc vessels, the shore line and swimmers/surfers etc.! maybe ALL jetskiers could sign up a petition detailing the above and valid points and start lobbying the dpi to be treated the same as all vessels but with restrictions to freestyling
well thats my 2 cents anyway

True kawaicustom. I hear ya. I think JSW are trying. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. I fully agree with what you say, and one day we will have the same rights as boats. Just not as soon as we'd like.
I don't think it would make any differance if Kawaicustom rode in the lake on his PWC for 5mins or or if no one rode their PWC in the lake ever. The people that make decisions on whether we could host any events in this location hate us, there is nothing we can do about that. We are bikies on water
