yes,,,we are compiling a JSW Social Group Riding Safety Management Plan for this specific purpose
for the exemptions and approvals with authorities

The same club you just said you were retracting your membership from in a previous post is pushing hard for your rights to travel to rotto. But seeing as you feel its not worth joinin then that's one less voice on the issue..

Shame you will miss out on this opportunity when it happens...

Just remember some people get a little excited and ten feet tall and bullet proof when sitting behind a keyboard.. In the end they all mean well just have a funny way of showing it...

Reconsider cancelling that cheque as we need all the voices (ie club numbers we can) to make the rotto thing happen...

From what i know apparently there was an organized ride a few years ago (~5) and some idiots amongst the group did some stupid shit close to shore etc in tommo's and thanks to that i believe the idea of rides to rotto has been indefinitely canned by DPI.

Iv done the ride myself, in convoy with a boat about a year and a half ago and it is a nice ride, rotto is a great place to explore and the SKI is nicely suited for it.

I know the local JSW club has been looking into it again but i dont believe anything is progressing on that front.

Id love to see it happen, iv herd people are working on making it happen, so i guess its just a matter of wait and see.

Excuse me but I don't believe you are on any JSW committee and have absolutely no idea how hard we are working on making the Rotto ride happen.. Yes like you say some idiots years ago have spoilt it for the rest but we are moving on from that and making great progress.

No you are correct, im not currently on any of the JSW committee's, thankyou again for pointing out what iv said a number of times my self in the past. And for the record you wont see me on any, any time soon either.

But the comments i made, were re-iterations of words that came straight out of the mouth of both YOU and the club president Al. (with respect to what happened that are causing the issues with approval now).

I understand there are LOTS of people doing good work and working hard on getting this to happen. But please also appreciate that I have head 'ITS GOING TO HAPPEN SOON' for the last 3 years straight.

How is that negative? i said from what i know they are working on it, from what i know (i spoke to a committee member a couple weeks back) there hadn't been any real progress. I said id love to see it happen, and i guess we will just have to wait and see...

Craig, i never meant to russell your feathers but if your going to have a go at me, at least have some basis to your comments.

Someone asked a question, it was not directed at the club, i answered as best i could from what i know... I thought that was kind of the point of a forum like this?
