Sorry El Tel... We had packed up, loaded up and where washing down then..

Was it crappy out there around that time?? Any decent wake at Alkimos? There was simply NOTHING when we got there in the Morning..

This is my first ski so my first visit to the alkimos. The wind was pretty strong so the chop was ugly,i'd fly over one wave then submarine the next, not knowing what i'm doing didn't help! I gotta say the ride is good on the SHO,rode solid for 2 hours and it felt like only 5 minutes,I'm 47 not a spring chicken like you guys.I got one of the slippery wetsuits with my store credit,I paddle the avon descent every year and i've never come across a wetty as good, being warm out there makes it so much more enjoyable.

Keep the nose up and power over the waves.. it's the only way...

The waves where not uniform and too choppy, so unfortunately there is always some submarining going on..

Sorry we missed you, I am sure we'll cross paths somewhere down the track

Sounds like you are happy with your SHO..

Yeah, it was a good run, shame about the lack of waves, but the weather was fine.
Good to meet up with you guys, catch you next time.
