Angry more gp1200r problems - spark, comp but no fuel

got the sticky throttle fixed at jet power. turns out carby needed some machining and ran perfect last weekend, out in the water for bout 2 hours no dramas.

BUT if u were down at ocean reef today i was the guy gettin towed back in by a friendly stranger!

like i said, it ran perfect last week. then today i took it out of the harbour for first thrash of the morning and within about 5 mins it cut out on me and wouldnt start up again. tried to start it up again and it fired and spluttered then shut off. it can still turn over but just not firing. i ended up drifting towards mullaloo beach until i got a tow.

anyway got it home, it has spark and compression but doesnt seem to be getting fuel. whats the best way to determine if there is a blockage or fuel pump knackered or what?

seems to be one problem after the other these days!!

Might sound dumb but is your fuel tap turned on... (if it has one). Sometimes they might have turned off the fuel after servicing it.

ok so update...after messing around we found a bit of shit in the filter, gave it a clean as good as u can without having a spare on hand...connected it up and fuel started flowing again.

the only problem is its idling pretty rough, sounds like its close to stalling but it doesnt. I took it for a quick run this arvo just in the marina and it goes alright but again it just idles rough. would a change of plugs n fuel filter help this?? or does anyone have other ideas??
