    Question Flushing Procedure ?

    Hi,

I've just purchased my first ski, 2001 gp1200r. The instructions say :

turn off the water after 3-5 minutes
THEN leave running for no more than 30 seconds
    THEN switch off.

Well there is always water still flushing out at the 30 second stage....... Do I a) leave running until every last drop has gone, or b) switch off as the instructions say ?

    Your help is much appreciated,

    Andy.

I flush for a minute or so, then once switched off water blip the throttle a few times as chookc said (letting the engine go back to idle for a couple of seconds between blips) this has worked to get just about all the water out of the skis we have owned.
If still worried, you might want to start ski and give it a few blips (after a little while & just prior to putting it away).

Thanks for the advice guys ....BUT :

..... what im tryna say is that when I turn the fresh water OFF / 45 seconds later after many blips with the throttle - theres still gallons of water coming out, is this normal on a gp1200r ?????

Should I leave it with all this water within or keep running till every last drop has gone ????

Sorry, I've never had that much water still coming out after water off and blipping it for a while.
I'd look at letting it cool for a little while, then firing it up for about 30sec. and blipping the throttle again to try to clear it - just ensure you don't over heat it.
