    Hi and welcome

Not 100% familiar with the XLT have you tried calling around the dealers or checking with YDS?

    Hey bud,

I had an '05 XLT1200 up until this year when i upgraded.

One time when i took it in for a service i forgot to unlock it, didn't realize until after lunch at which point i called them up assumably to tell them the code only to be told that the ski was done and all was well and did i realize i didn't unlock the dash.

When i asked what they did to get it started they told me there is a wire behind the dash that if you disconnect resets the code back to 'AAA'. When I got the ski back that arvo it had in fact been reset back to 'AAA'.

I never asked them to actually show me the wire u need to disconnect but thats what they told me. Might be worth giving a dealer a call and asking the question.
