Oil mix is 32 to 1 on a GPR engine, and the XLT engine as well if the auto luber has been taken off.
TCW3 two stroke oil must be used as well, not just any old two stroke oil etc.

Solas 13/19 prop. is the best aftermarket one for it in stock or semi stock form.

Sounds like you have a silver 2000 model.......correct??????
In stock form it should do around 63 MPH or so.

Beware the power valves on it. Early GPR engines 'dropped' them with dire results. Check this and see if yours as been attended to.

By now it should have had a rebuild. How many hours on it? They normally need a rebuilt about every 100 hours or so to keep them performing well and stopping disasters.
A compression test is a MUST. Stock engine 130psi down to 100psi, and all cylinders even on numbers.

Carbs need regular attention. Cleaning out and rebuilding yearly. If they go lean you lose the engine.

There are plenty of aftermarket goodies available for GPRs to get them over 90 MPH but expect to spend lots of money.
Heads, carbs, exhausts, big bore and work on them.

    Good luck, and have fun.

PS. Should have mentioned......Regular fuel only in a stock engine. That's all they need and run best on.

Whoever the 'builder' was is a worry.....50 to 1. OMG. No engine in a short time.
32 to 1 it is, and REGULAR fuel. Read the books that come with this ski......I assume the previous owner did supply them with the ski. Full of good and important information in maintaining it properly.
    Good luck.

Yeah i though 50:1 sounded a bit lean so i did 40:1 i didn't get any books with the ski it has has the oil injection plugged so i premix it. Thanks heaps for the tips and advice what brand of oil do you recommend the previous owner had keeped the ski in awesome condition and i want to learn to ride then upgrade and give this one to the missus. I will use 32:1 from now on thanks.

As long as it's a TCW3 it's okay. I usually used Valvoline, but any including Yamalube will do the job.
Best not to mix them if possible.......What brand are you using now?

How many hours total has it done? New engine now 12 hours old? Still well worth a compression test and checking if it has the clips on the PVs IMHO.
