Gday just got myself a 2008 GPR 1300 and it came with a genuine cover my questian is ive got a very long gravel driveway before i hit the main rd. so every time i take my ski out i put my cover on but ive noticed alot of chafing on the blue metalic paintwork is there any way i can stop this!.. ive noticed the cover doesnt have a soft liner inside it is there covers you can get that do or is there otherways to overcome this problem
You can even sew/tac the sheet to the cover yourself. Shouldnt be to hard.
I did have an 07 GPR
Just sold it two weeks ago, getting my FZR in a few weeks.
I must admit the GPR has been the best ski i have even owned, reliable, fun, speed, handling, easy to throw around and it was completly stock.
so the fzs is the three seater yeah?... Ive got a 08 GPR the last model manufactured its blue Iam a yamaha lover and the blue I think is yamahas genuine colour I often think that when i update i would buy a fzr but talking to the local dealer he said the 2010's were red but not real keen on that is it true that they are only coming out in red
The FZR and the FZS are identical skis. The only thing that changes is the seat and the colour. The length, width and everything else is the same.
Oh and the FZS has a rear boarding step.
But Yamaha are bringing out the 2010 (red) FZR with a rear boarding step.
The FZS is the three seater.
TAXSUX
The 2009 FZR is Blue, which is the colour i am getting. Blue is the Yamaha trademark and makes the ski go faster J.
The 2010 FZR is coming out in red so if you want a red one grab a 2010 model which hasn’t been released in aus yet, but you will be paying that bit extra for the 2010 plate.
Pinkstre
Grab yourself a 09 model.
Personally i love the blue better as well, red isnt really my thing.
