they should have the same numbering system as what you are currently using. ie: an irridium br8es with watever gap is recomended. If they are differnet they will have a conversion chart from ngk to irridiums. But again these will only be a temp fix, not a permanent solution.

Check the cable that controls your oil pump. Not sure of the Yammie, but on the 'doo I used to have when the cable snapped / became disconnected the pump would revert to full open (running the theory that its better to have too much oil being injected than none). Worth a look anyway.

Thats right happened on my 08 1300. No dramas as said better running rich than the alternative. The cable had frayed on mine (with 20 hrs ) and the pump sets at full flow. You'll notice a heap more smoke on the hose etc and in the water so either trace the cable/pump problem or just be done with it and go premix

Hello thanks for all your repies.

Lately I have noticed alot more blue smoke on the first start of the day or after it has been sitting in the water for a few hours but the plugs dont show up all oiled up, just very wet from fuel. I'll get the manual out today again and work out how to get to this cable to check. I know I can adjust something on that cable.

I drained all the fuel out of it yesterday and started it up on water to get all the fuel out of the fuel rail etc. As I did that the ski ran fine. I know lean out condition but that says to me maybe over rich with fuel!!

Anyway I'll have a look at this cable...

    Ok just a little update!!

I took it out yesterday with fresh fuel and some of that injector cleaner in it. Rough at the start but getting better and better as more fuel went through it.

One thing I did notice was yes I believe it is using alot more oil then it should.

Fill the the oil a few weeks ago. Only had 2 tanks through it. (45 litres each time) and the oil was just about empty!!
So I think I do have an over oiling problem.

As gas been said the pump. Either the cable will have broken/frayed or its fallen off causing the pump to go to max flow.

Hi guys just a quick update.

Pulled the exhaust off to inspect the oil pump cable. Found that it was way out of adjustment. The manual reads it should be 0 - 0.5mm with WOT. Mine was about 10mm with WOT. So my cable has streached heaps. Re-adjusted it by the manual and just about to put it back together.

I another thing I have found is the RIVA EFI I am running is way to rich for my ski with the RIVA recommended setting. Did alot of research on the weekend to find this out. Riva setting are 6.9.1.6 for the stage 1 and 2 kits.

By my research I have found a good starting point for the stage 1 kit should be 5.5.1.7....

Just to let other people know anyway.

    All Fixed

Just a quick update. All fixed. It was the oil pump. Adjusted that to the manual and wow back to normal.

Thank you for all that helped me through this....
