Same water, same start, both had passengers, identical conditions.
I can see this one is going to get heated lol
also hows the big fzr go with a bit of wave jumping
Goes good man, havent hit big surf yet just a few little rollers at palm beach. I will let you know how i go once i get some more air.
The size of the ski is deceptive. They look big (as RichieB would call it a "barge") but are so light and nible on he water. They dont feel as big as they look.
Are you from they Sydney area?
Feel free to come out one weekend and you can jump on and have a squirt if you undecided on what to get.
Thats what i did, phoned up the guys at Waterskiirs Warehouse Rosehill and they took us out on a test ride. Most dealerships have a day maybe once a month or something where they have all the latest model out for customers to test ride.
What do you have at the moment?
iam the gp man!! just how much better is the fzr to the gp
91 yamaha fzr 1000 motorcycle been stored 3yrs ran fine before storage. would the engine sieze up from the long period of storage? how will i know if the engine is siezed up.I would take the plugs out, squirt a bit of oil in each cylinder, let sit overnight. Charge the battery. Carefully crank engine with plugs out, if everything seems to be ok start it up. Change the oil.
Horses for courses I think.
Not my bag, but an ok machine. Cheap to buy, plenty of fun.....
.........(walks away from the comments podium, his bottom lip seriously bleeding)
All Skis are unique. The Kawi offering is a real stable, off-shore machine with incredible power delivery. However, I am unsure as to what niche the Yam was aimed at.
The GP will always be a winner, but unfortunately the Engines are now getting long in the tooth. They always command a good re-sale price as a used and good condition ski, only the off-shore is a little tedious at times.
The thing is to compare apples with apples at the end of the day. 2 totally different machines in more than one way. There are GPs out there with incredible turns of speed and handling.
If you are asking 'cos u are thinking of buying, then go and have a go on each one you fancy, and it will pick you!!
