Thread: reverse for vx110 sports

I would like to fit reverse to my 2007 VX110 Sport , is this difficult / costly or would I be better to go to a Dealer , I live on the Sunshine coast , any advice or tips? thanks

I did this about 3 months ago at my local dealer.
This is quite funny. Rang 3 dealers and got the following prices
$4500
$3000
$1500

And which one did i choose.

All were Yamaha dealers and used yamaha parts. Had to wait for the parts to come from Japan.
It is well worth it. the VX110 was my first (and still only) ski. you don't relise how much of an important mod this is until you get it.

ITs either pay the $1500 or sell it and get the next model up (Delux).

THey did are great job and it looks factory.

I am a mr fix it and would not consider doing this myself.. You need the Factory, parts and labour warrenty.

Your entering cable into the hull so you want some insurance that it is water tight.
My advise is to ring around each dealer located around you. adn see what price they offer.
