    gp1200r siezed

I left my ski over the winter and didnt put oil down the bores or do anything else to it and now its siezed. I dont know if its the motor or starter motor or pump or what.

When I press the start button the starter motor just cracks once and then nothing happens. I think ive heard a buzzing noise from the black box area near the battery if i hold it down once the starter cracks. does this sound like something to anyone?

I had it booked in to the jetski shop for them to tell me whats wrong with it but I couldnt get it there beacause I dont have a car with a towbar and couldnt organise one.

Can anyone tell me ways to check the various parts to see if i can find out whats siezed. Ive read you can run the starter straight off the battery to rule out any problems from the battery to the starter motor. how do i do that exactly? and how can i check if its the pump siezed or motor siezed.

Ive tried 2 batteries so i dont think its a flat battery problem.

Im on the northside of brisbane. Is there any mobile guys that can come to my house and tell me whats wrong with it? The mobile jetski mechanic listed at brendale in the yellow pages cant come to me so im wondering if anyone knows a place that can. I just want to know what the problem is first. Was going to cost me $88 to find out but I couldnt get it to the shop.

Or il do a few checks myself if people can tell me what to do. Ive searched on here and google abit but couldnt see anything to tell me what to check and how to do it.

    Thanks guys

    Hey mate,

Don't stress I find it unlikely that the engine has seized. First thing check if you have spark then get back

its fixed itself now. i got it ready to check if it was sparking and it was turning over now, not siezed at all or anything. so i put the plugs back in and it started up fine once i sorted out the fuel tap. must have been a bad connection on the battery or something.

hopefully it didnt break something when i was trying to start it last time when it wouldnt turn over at all like a stuck ring or something now its broken and free. it didnt make any bad noises when it was running for the 30 or so seconds but so should be all good.

    thanks for the help mate
