    2009 FX HO Upgrades

does anyone know what companies have mods and upgrades for the 2009 FX HO? Imparticular PROP and intake grates to reduce cavitation. So far I have only been looking at RIVA and they dont have much yet.

Yeh had a look, but there is still nothing for the 2009 FX HO. Have they not desinged anything yet, do I have to wait till next year untill they get some things together? Also, will most of the SHO parts fit the HO, obviously not any of the supercharger mods. But would, intake grates and impellers? I sent an email to RIVA about 10days ago asking this but no reply yet.

    Hey mate,

Yes same hull so everything is interchangeable with the FX hulls. You could also go free flow exh, pump seal kit, intake grate, plate, sponsons.

There's a few mods right there

Mate i couldn’t agree with you more and commend you on your way of thinking.

I just wish that more PWC riders would have the same mentality as you. Respect for the community and people around us.

This is something that we are trying to push through to the minority of riders so that we can change the perception of PWC's in the community.

If only the minority of riders that are ruining it for the sport had the same thoughts as you then we would get the Harbour back tomorrow.

    Cheers

Just checked out the prices for the Free Flow Exhaust. Wat a rip! $180US for a piece of plastic pipe. Wats the difference to placing that flexible 4inch tubing across instead. The stuff that the tosses in S**t cars use for cool air induction. At least that way you wont have to cut and mod the OEM parts.

Any one out there know if this will affect the backpressure much? Dont know much about backpressure but from what I could see, the RIVA free flow exhaust dont converge or diverge and therefore the change to a shorter length outlet is the only factor to backpressure.

It's not plastic, aluminium. You'd have to really get it right I wouldn't take the risk of something going wrong with a DIY. Is it worth a ski?
