    2 stroke oil

    I have a 04 xlt1200 and have this Castrol 2 stroke tc-w3 oil wondering if i should put that in or the Yamalube. What do you guys think?

    Hey mate
    All the same stuff, doesnt really matter.
    Some oils smoke more than others some make the ski idle smoother with more smoke etc.
    At the end of the day it all does the same stuff unless you buy some no name brand you should be all good

    Hey mate,

    Before i sold my gp800r i was using that Castrol TC-3W oil and it is basically the same as the yamalube, the yamalube is more sythetic though. The 3W means it has passed another rating over the 2W yamalube oil. From experience the 3W oil doesnt smoke anymore than the yamalube. So you should be right.
